UtilityCloud was founded in 2019 by a team with deep roots in energy retail. We had seen first-hand how legacy systems were holding companies back: complex, expensive, and slow to adapt to constant market change.

We set out to build something fundamentally different: a purpose-built platform rooted in deep energy market knowledge and modern software engineering. Not an ERP add-on. Not a billing module. A platform designed from the ground up for how energy retail actually works.

Today, UtilityCloud processes billing for more than one million households and continues to expand across the Nordics and Europe, supporting energy retailers as they modernise and scale through continuous change.

Our home market is the Nordics, with a strong presence in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. We are expanding into the Baltics and broader European markets where energy retailers face the same pressures: tightening regulation, shrinking margins, and the need to modernise core systems.

Our platform already supports multi-market operations, handling different regulatory frameworks, settlement models, and market rules from a single instance.
